Under Coach Greg Lloyd, the Kings Mountain "Mountaineers” High School Football team looks to repeat and hopefully surpass last year’s impressive 3A Division performance which carried them deep into the post season playoffs.  Ranked 12th in the state last year, the "Black and Gold" boasts several returning veteran players and a compassionate longtime winning philosophy that makes each game an exciting event to experience both on the field and over the air waves.

The Mountaineers play their home games in the newly renovated John Gamble Stadium on the Kings Mountain High School campus at 500 Phifer Rd, Kings Mountain, NC 28086.
